WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
ABOUT US
Together we are a community of believers. What does that mean, the word community? We believe that together in fellowship we grow closer to God and one another. The bible speaks about iron sharpening iron. We believe that together we grow stronger. We are a community of believers.
We strive to be a church without walls. Jesus calls for us to go outside the walls to reach the lost and the broken. It is there that the lost will be found. Most churches find it is comfortable to stay within the walls, but we make it an effort to be like the church from the book of Acts, to see our city changed.
We highly value our relationships with one another. We look to grow through fellowship, and ultimately growing closer to God. We value the word of God, and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We look to extend grace to all of the lost and broken, and lead those with no hope to the hope of Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE
"We believe in the complete and equal inspiration of the entire Bible, affirming it as the written Word of God.
We hold to the doctrine of the verbal inspiration of the Bible.
We affirm our belief in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
We profess that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived by the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. We acknowledge His crucifixion, burial, resurrection from the dead, and His ascension to heaven, where He currently serves as our Intercessor at the right hand of the Father.
We recognize that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and we emphasize the importance of repentance as commanded by God for all, as it is necessary for the forgiveness of sins.
We believe in justification, regeneration, and the new birth, all of which are accomplished through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.
We affirm the doctrine of sanctification following the new birth, achieved through faith in the blood of Christ, the Word, and the guidance of the Holy Ghost.
We hold holiness as the standard of living for God's people.
We believe in the baptism with the Holy Ghost following a pure heart, accompanied by speaking in other tongues as directed by the Spirit, which serves as the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
We practice water baptism by immersion, and we baptize all who repent in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
We believe that divine healing is provided for all through the atonement. We observe the Lord's Supper and the washing of the saints' feet.
We anticipate the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and gather the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth for a thousand years.
Lastly, we affirm our belief in the bodily resurrection, eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked."
OUR VISION
(FOUNDED ON ISAIAH 61)
REBUILD
We are committed to rebuilding lives that have been broken, shattered by adversity, or plagued by despair. Through compassionate outreach, counseling, and support, we aim to empower individuals to overcome their past and build a solid foundation for a brighter future. We stand as agents of change, restoring dignity and self-worth to those who have experienced loss and hardship.
RESTORE
At Ignite Ministries, we embrace the call to restore those who have suffered wounds, both visible and hidden. Just as Isaiah proclaimed, we will bind up the brokenhearted and offer solace to the weary. Through prayer, fellowship, and the transforming power of God's Word, we seek to bring healing to hurting souls and cultivate an environment of emotional and spiritual restoration.
RENEW
We believe in the power of renewal, the transformative work of God's Spirit breathing new life into weary hearts. Our ministry aims to ignite the flame of hope in the lives of those who have lost their way. By sharing the Gospel and fostering a nurturing community of faith, we desire to see lives renewed with purpose, passion, and a profound connection to God.
